"Grab the nearest book" blog thing

I just saw this on my mom's blog, and thought I'd try it out.

Here's the instructions:
Grab the nearest book.
1. Open it to page 161.
2. Find the fifth full sentence.
3. Post the text of the sentence along with these instructions.
4. Don’t search around looking for the coolest book you can find. Do what’s actually next to you.

What I saw was "Basil of Cesarea", which my dad was using for his translations.
Here it is:
A short letter to Modestus (no, I don't know who that is either) is worth quoting in full: Basil displayed deference, gaurded his own reputation as a patron, and showed how totally interwoven were the worlds of private interest and public administration, for all the careful distinctions preserved between justice and friendship.

Kind of strange, but you get the idea.
